A ship carrying humanitarian aid will set sail for Somalia next week.
Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) said in a statement on Saturday that the ship would carry 5 thousand tons of humanitarian aid under an aid campaign carried out by TIKA, the Directorate of Religious Affairs, the Directorate of Disaster and Emergency Management, the Sabah daily and the Turkey's relief agency Red Crescent.
The ship is expected to arrive in Somalia after an eleven-day journey.
It will also carry a water drilling machine and a team to find a solution to shortage of water.
The aid includes foodstuff, five fully-equipped ambulances and a generator.
