Commander of the Turkish Land Forces Gen. Hayri Kivrikoglu on Tuesday met with Bosnia-Herzegovina Defense Minister Zekerijah Osmic and Chief of Military Staff Miladin Milojicic in Sarajevo.
A press statement from the Bosnia-Herezegovina's Ministry of Defense after the behind-closed-doors meeting said that Osmic had thanked Kivrikoglu for the support the Turkish Armed Forces extended to the Bosnia-Herzegovina's Armed Forces.
Osmic also said his ministry and the armed forces were ready for the implementation of the NATO Action Plan in the shortest possible time.
Kivrikoglu, on his part, said Turkish Armed Forces would continue to support Bosnia-Herzegovina's armed forces.
Kivrikoglu also separately met with Deputy Chief of Military Staff Gen. Anto Jelec.
