Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and his French counterpart Laurent Fabius held a phone conversation on Monday.
According to information received from diplomatic sources, upon French side's demand, alongside bilateral relations, the situation in Syria and Mali was discussed as well.
During their phone call, they also assessed Turkey's EU membership process and shared what steps could be taken in the next term.
It was added that Fabius invited Davutoglu to attend a ministerial conference which would be held in Paris on February 12 to support Libya.
