A Turkish charity organization has cheered 350 children in Ethiopia who are suffering from severe shortage of food and water.
IHH Humanitarian Aid Foundation distributed clothes, stationery and small gifts to Ethiopian children in the cities of Abomsa, 280 km from the capital and Kofale, 350 km from Addis Ababa.
Osman Atalay, a member of the IHH Executive Board, told the A.A on Tuesday, "we want to cheer Ethiopian children ahead of the Ramadan Feast. We distributed clothes, stationery and small gifts sent by our beneficent people. Their joy and pleasure are worth seeing."
He called on Turkish people to give a helping hand to African people who face death as famine grips in the Horn of Africa.
