Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc on Thursday visited the Srebrenica Memorial Gallery in Sarajevo as part of his visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The gallery was made possible with the contributions of the Turkish International Cooperation Agency (TIKA) after Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan issued directives.

Srebrenica Memorial Gallery was opened so that the memories of more than 8,000 Bosnians killed in Srebrenica on July 11, 1995 are not forgotten.

The gallery includes the photographs taken by Tarik Samarah during and after the Bosnian war.

Turkish Ambassador in Sarajevo Ahmet Yildiz, and Board Chairman and Director General of the Anadolu Agency (AA) Kemal Ozturk accompanied Arinc at the gallery.
