Turkish Ambassador in Washington, D.C. Namik Tan left for the United States on Tuesday.
Turkey had recalled Tan after the Foreign Relations Committee of the United States House of Representatives adopted a resolution on March 4 that supported Armenian allegations regarding the incidents of 1915.
Tan said, "our interlocutors understood the message we wanted to give. We have received satisfactory answers. It is time to return to my office."
"I will welcome Mr. Prime Minister (Recep Tayyip Erdogan) in Washington, D.C. at the weekend," Tan said.
Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan will travel to United States to attend the International Nuclear Security Summit in Washington, D.C. to take place on April 12 and 13.
