Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu received Omurbek Tekebayev, leader of Kyrgyzstan's political party Ata-Meken, in the Turkish capital, Ankara on Thursday.
Earlier Takabayev was received by Turkish President Abdullah Gul in a meeting closed to press.
Davutoglu and Tekebayev discussed latest political developments in Kyrgyzstan and the country's upcoming general elections scheduled for October 10.
The Turkish minister said his country attached great importance to Kyrgyzstan's prosperity and stability, and he pledged for continued support.
Tekebayev on Wednesday was received by Turkish President Abdullah Gul.
