Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu attended a mini-summit on Somalia within the scope of the 66th session of United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York on Friday.
Davutoglu said that Turkey attached importance in protection of permanent peace and stability in Somalia as well as coordination in assistance sent to Somalia.
Davutoglu noted that solving problems in the Horn of Africa was essential to end commercial traffic and hostage problem.
He said that Turkish Embassy to Somalia would be opened within this week, adding that the embassy in Somalia would be the third one in the region after Uganda and Kenya.
Davutoglu also said that parliament building in Somalia would be built by Turkish companies.
