Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu arrived early on Thursday in Vietnam's capital city of Hanoi to participate in a summit meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Davutoglu is expected to sign a friendship and cooperation agreement with the ASEAN and he is set to hold bilateral meetings with ASEAN leaders.

The top Turkish diplomat is expected to return to Turkey on Friday.
