Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu's visit will coincide with the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Turkey's diplomatic relations with the Sultanate of Oman.
Davutoglu will pay official visits to the Sultanate of Oman on October 23, and to Kuwait on October 24, Turkish Foreign Ministry stated on Tuesday.
Davutoglu will exchange views with Omani authorities on political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries as well as on current regional developments, statement said.
According to the statement, Davutoglu and Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah will co-chair, on October 24 in Kuwait, the first meeting of the Turkish-Kuwaiti Joint Committee for Cooperation which will be held with the participation of senior officials of various departments and agencies of both countries.
Statement said that political, economic, commercial and cultural cooperation opportunities would be discussed during the meeting and sectorial co-operation activities to be realized in the coming period would be reviewed in a comprehensive manner.
Davutoglu will also exchange views on regional developments of common interest to both countries, during his contacts with Kuwaiti officials.Last Mod: 22 Ekim 2013, 11:40
