Turkey's IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation delivered humanitarian aid worth of 250 thousand euro to drought-stricken Somalia in the last three months, the foundation's foreign relations coordinator has said.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Durmus Aydin said the IHH delivered aid worth of 250 thousand USD to Kenya that included food and medical supplies.
Tens of thousands of people are suffering drought and famine in Somalia and head for refugee camps in Kenya and Ethiopia in search of food and water.
Aydin said the IHH had also opened 350 water wells with 50 more planned to be opened soon.
