Turkish fighter jets bombed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) targets in northern Iraq on Tuesday in an air operation, security sources said.
Eight F-16 fighter jets, which took off from Diyarbakır Airbase at around 11:00 a.m., launched strikes on PKK targets in the Kandil, Zap and Basyan regions. The operation lasted almost two hours.
