Turkish Interior Minister Besir Atalay attended a conference on Tuesday in Brussels which was hosted by EU's term president Belgium.
Minister Besir Atalay participated in the ministerial conference which focused on quality and efficiency in the asylum process.
The conference noted good practices that could contribute to a more efficient asylum policy in the Member States, in compliance with defined quality standards. It was structured around three key themes: 'Asylum seekers with special needs', 'Decision Process' and 'Solidarity'.
Atalay will also attend inauguration of a fair in Brussels, and then hold a press conference after completing his talks.
