Turkish Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Nihat Ergun will come together with German businessmen at the German Economic Council. Ergun will meet with the executives of "giants of Germany" and invite businessmen to invest in Turkey.
According to information received from the ministry, Ergun will travel to Germany's capital Berlin upon the invitation of German Economic Council between February 27 and 28.
Within the scope of his trip to Berlin, Turkish minister will come together with the German businessmen from the sectors of machinery, automotive, chemistry, medicine and finance.
CEOs and executives of nearly 100 German firms including BMW, Bosch, Adidas, Nivea, MAN, Allianz SE, Braun, DELTA, Henkel, Hugo Boss and Siemens will attend the meeting.
At the meeting, Ergun will explain Turkey's economy, incentive system and steps taken in order to improve the investment opportunities in Turkey in details to the German CEOs and invite "giants of Germany" to invest in Turkey.
At the opening of the meeting, Ergun will deliver, "Development and Potentials of the Turkish industry" titled speech at the "Turkey-Germany Economic Relations Commission" which was formed under the Council.
In the framework of his Berlin visit, Minister Ergun will also come together with German Minister of Economics and Technology Philipp Roesler.
He will meet with Turkish businessmen who are based in Germany, non-governmental organizations and academics at a dinner too.
German Economic Council formed by Christian Democratic Union (CDU) also takes part in shaping country's decisions in the economy field.
