Turkish Energy & Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz has said that teams of TPAO, Turkish Petroleum Corp., might begin to work in Libya again within two weeks.
The teams were ready to work and they might launch activities again within two weeks according to a response of Libya, Yildiz told reporters on Monday.
TPAO, Turkey's state-owned oil and gas exploration company, earlier suspended its operations in Libya due to security reasons.
Yildiz said that TPAO had been drilling six oil wells in Libya, but it halted operations after war broke out in that country.
We conveyed Libya that the operations would resume and even be extended when stability was restored in the country, noted Yildiz.
