Officials from foreign ministries of Turkey and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will convene in Ankara on Thursday to discuss the unilateral initiatives of the Greek Cypriot administration to explore oil in the East Mediterranean.
TRNC presidency officials said on Wednesday that a Turkish Cypriot delegation comprised of officials from TRNC Foreign Ministry and Economy & Energy Ministry would attend the meeting which would take place in Turkey's capital Ankara tomorrow.
The meeting aims to implement the decisions which had been made during another meeting held in Ankara on September 9.
Turkish Cypriots earlier made a call on the Greek Cypriots to postpone their initiatives while Cyprus negotiations were continuing, otherwise, it would negatively affect the talks.
