Turkish Red Crescent Aid Society (Kizilay) continues to extend help to Libya which has been struggling with a civil war since February.
Kizilay has so far provided Libya with a significant amount of humanitarian aid materials worth more than 7 million U.S. dollars.
The aid organization has been helping both the wounded Libyans and refugees escaping from the chaos in their country.
Kizilay has been providing Libyans with basic goods to meet their daily needs such as tents, dry food, water, blankets, bread, baby food, clothes and medical supplies.
The organization also established a mobile bread bakery unit in Benghazi and distributed toys to Libyan children.
A delegation from the Turkish Red Crescent has been distributing the aid materials from an office in Benghazi in coordination with the Libyan Red Crescent since March.
Speaking to AA, the head of the Kizilay Delegation Mustafa Aydin said that his organization distributed the most qualified aid materials to the Libyans in need.
"We have set an example for foreign aid organizations. They have changed their aid packages in line with ours," Aydin said.
