Turkish villagers said on Saturday that gunshots were heard from Syria.

People living in some villages in Yayladagi town of the southern province of Hatay said that they heard gunshots from Syrian towns along Turkish-Syrian border.

Villagers said that the gunshots might have stemmed from clashes between the Syrian army and opponents.
