The UN inquiry panel's report on Israeli raid on a Gaza-bound aid ship in 2010 that killed nine Turkish activists will be handed over to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon till September 2.
Diplomatic officials said Friday that the report prepared by the UN inquiry panel would play key role in solution process of the issue.
The report will be made public after Ban makes an assessment on it. The report will also assume an important role in Turkey's stance regarding Israel.
On Monday, a spokesperson for the Turkish Foreign Ministry said that UN had postponed the release of its report on the flotilla attack upon Israel's demand.
On May 31, 2010, Israeli commandos raided an aid flotilla heading for Gaza, killing nine Turkish nationals one of whom was a U.S. citizen.
