Four companies including TAV, Makyol, IC/Fraport and Limak/Cengiz/Kolin/Ma-Pa/Kalyon offered bids for the third airport to be built in Istanbul.
Turkish Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications has invested 3.3 billion dollars in the past ten years for the airports and air space, said Funda Ocak, the president of the bid commission.
Ocak said 25 percent of the investments were spent on Ataturk Airport adding that Ataturk Airport has been the center of the civil aviation transport.
Stating that the bid would be the biggest ever in the history of Turkish Republic, Ocak said they would hold an open bargaining.Last Mod: 03 Mayıs 2013, 14:50
