Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will head to Croatia on Thursday to participate in the 8th Conference on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems (SDEWES).
A ministry spokesperson said Davutoglu would go to Montenegro and Albania afterwards.
SDEWES Conference, to be held in Dubrovnik in 2013, is dedicated to the improvement and dissemination of knowledge on methods, policies and technologies for increasing the sustainability of development by de-coupling growth from natural resources and replacing them with knowledge based economy.
The 7th SDEWES Conference was held in Macedonia's Ohrid in 2012.
