Economists all over the Turkic world agreed to form an "Association of Economists for Turkic World" in Azerbaijani capital Baku Friday.
The 2013 Eurasian Forum on Social Sciences is being held in Baku with the main theme of "New Integration Attempts in Eurasia: Present Condition and Expectations".
The proposal by Turkish economist Ahmet Burcin Yereli to form an association of economists from Turkic world was accepted by the participants of the forum.
Speaking to the press, Yereli said prospects of cooperation between Turkic nations regarding economic integration were discussed in the forum.
"We, as economists, want to form an association which will assemble economists from all over Turkic world", Yereli said.
The Eurasian Forum on Social Sciences is organized by Hacettepe University from Turkey, Azerbaijan State Economic University
from Baku, Ahmet Yesevi University from Kazakhstan and Manas University from Kyrgyzstan.
