Egypt signed two different deals worth $44 million with U.S. oil company Apache, for oil drilling in the west of Egypt, announced Egypt's Ministry of Petroleum.
Petroleum Council of Egypt signed the deals with Apache to drill for oil and gas in the regions of Siwa and Kenayis, located in the northwest of the country, according to a written statement by Ministry of Petroleum.
Egypt accelerated oil deals since October 2013 and 35 new deals were signed for oil and natural gas researches with big companies, said Sherif Ismail, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources. The value of these deals reached $2 billion, he added.Last Mod: 11 Eylül 2014, 09:46
