Euro has exceeded 2 Turkish Liras (TL) at Istanbul free market again after three months.

Euro, which closed the day at 1.994 at Istanbul free market on Monday, opened at 1.996 on Tuesday and exceeded 2 TL shortly in line with the parity reaching 1.3.

The last time Euro reached such level was on April 21, 2010.

Euro, which amounted to 2.155 TL at the free market by the end of 2009, has been traded between 1.9 - 2.145 TL since the beginning of 2010.

Euro has lost value by 7.19 percent against Turkish lira during that period.
