The amount of international direct investments Turkey attracted between January and June 2010 declined by 24.5 percent, when compared to the same term last year, and reached a value of 3.22 billion USD.
According to the Turkish Undersecretariat of Treasury, Turkey had received international direct investments worth 4.27 billion USD between January and June, 2009.
As far as international capital was concerned, between January and June, 2010, Turkey received international capital worth 1.80 billion USD, down 48.5 percent from the same term last year, the Treasury said.
Between January and June, 2009, Turkey had received 3.39 billion USD of international capital, the Treasury also said.
