Former Prime Minister of France Dominic De Villepin said that France is ready to back Turkish companies in globalisation process.
De Villepin attended a conversation session on Wednesday in Istanbul, which was held to strengthen rapidly improving cooperation between Turkey and France.
Furthermore, French Consul General in Istanbul Herve Magro also attended the conversation conference.
"The implemented economy and fiscal policy of Turkey became an international achievement with its significant economic indicators," said De Villepin.
Thereby, De Villepin reminded that North Atlantic economic and financial crisis, which started in August 2007 and accelerated after 2008, is carrying on effecting global markets, and especially European markets.
De Villepin said, "I am very pleased with accelerated relations between Turkey and France."
Emerging markets replaced developed markets
De Villepin emphasized that emerging markets replaced the distance between developed countries as part of the encountered economic crisis.
"Fixed capital investments were previously made on developed countries; however, fixed capital investments are continuously and clearly made recently on emerging markets" said De Villepin.
In this way, De Villepin stressed that Turkey takes firm steps towards being one of the most powerful 10 economies in 2023, which is the centennial anniversary of the foundation of Turkey.
