Global finance leaders to convene at Istanbul

The 4th Istanbul Finance Summit will bring together leaders of global finance at Istanbul's Ceylan Intercontinental Hotel on September 18-19.

The 2013 Istanbul Finance Summit (IFS) to be held with the official media sponsorship of Anadolu Agency (AA) will include global finance leaders such as Leonid S. Vindman, known for his career with leading worldwide finance institutions like UniCredit Group, JP Morgan Chase and Bankers Trust, CEO of British MRL Corporation Cornelia Meyer, and board member of the Central Bank of the Czech Republic Professor Kamil Janacek.

Under this year's theme "Financing Sustainable Growth," global finance leaders will hold discussions on issues regarding the global finance agenda and will share their countries' experiences including best practices and solutions.

Turkish Deputy Prime Ministers Bulent Arinc and Ali Babacan, Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan, Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek and Development Minister Cevdet Yilmaz will deliver key note speeches at the Istanbul Finance Summit while prominent representatives of Turkish and foreign finance markets will make various presentations.

The Summit will host high level guests such as the Governor of Malaysian Central Bank Zeki Akhtar Aziz, CEO of CIMB Islamic Badlisyah Abdul Ghani, Member of the British Parliament and Head of London Strategic House Geoffrey Robinson, Director of Kosovan Central Bank Bedri Hamza, and board member of the Central Bank of Poland Katarzyna Zajdel-Kurowska.
