World Bulletin / News Desk

Kazakhstan has removed restrictions on imports of Russian petrol by rail, the Kazakh Oil and Gas Ministry said on Wednesday.

According to the report, the relevant restrictions were made in May 2013 to protect the Kazakh market from oversupply.

"The Kazakh Oil and Gas Ministry's order on 'Approval of the schedule of petroleum product supply with determined volume, delivery date and suppliers' No 87 dated May 21, 2013 was cancelled upon Kazakh Oil and Gas Minister Uzakbay Karabalin's order No 201 dated November 1, 2013.
