Turkish State Minister Zafer Caglayan said on Monday that Turkey's export increased 28.6 percent between March 1 and 21, 2010 when compared to the same period of 2009.

He told reporters that the export figure between March 1 and 21, 2010 was 6.1 billion USD.

Caglayan noted that Turkey's export increased 19.4 percent to 22.2 billion USD between January 1 and March 21, 2010 when compared to the same period of 2009.

Noting that Turkey exported products worth of 262.3 million USD only on March 21, Caglayan said that the highest rise in export rate was recorded in industrial sector.
