A technical committee will be established to work on August 17, 18 and 19 regarding amendments to trade union laws.
"Tripartite Consultative Board" convened under the chairmanship of Turkish Labor & Social Security Minister Faruk Celik in Ankara on Tuesday. The meeting which lasted for four hours focused on amendments to Law No. 2821, the law of trade unions, and Law No. 2822, the law of collective agreement, strike and lock-out.
Representatives of Labor & Social Security Ministry, employees' and employers' confederations discussed amendments to the mentioned laws.
Before the meeting, Labor & Social Security Minister Celik said that they aimed to revise Law No. 2821 and Law No. 2822 in accordance with norms of the European Union and the International Labor Organization (ILO).
