Turkish producers from the western province of Aydin export every year strawberries worth about $20 million, and Russia constitutes the biggest buyer, said head of a local producers' association.
Deniz Tarhan from Sultanhisar's Agricultural Chamber told the Anadolu Agency that the population of their town was 6,000, and the annual harvest was around 25,000 tons.
