Snow causes delays on Turkish Airlines flights

Turkish Airlines (THY) cancelled on Tuesday 102 domestic and international flights from Istanbul's Ataturk Airport due to bad weather conditions.

Athens, Rome, Donetsk, Malaga, Valencia, Turin, Naples, Beirut and London flights in international lines and Sivas, Kahramanmaras, Nevsehir, Erzincan and Ankara flights in domestic lines were cancelled.

THY officials said that as of today 37 flights in international lines, and 65 flights in domestic lines had been cancelled due to bad weather conditions.

Many regions of Turkey have been seeing heavy snowfall since the weekend.
