Turkey has appointed a new representative at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development or the OECD, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

Turkey's Ambassador in Vienna, Ecvet Tezcan, has been named as Turkey's permanent representative at the OECD.

Ayse Sezgin, deputy undersecretary for European Union affairs, would replace Tezcan as ambassador to Austria.
