Turkey collected 98.6 billion lira from taxpayers in the first half of 2010, according to statistics of Turkey's finance ministry.

The size of collected tax is equal to nearly 74 percent of total tax accrual of 134.7 billion lira.

Tax collected from taxpayers in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Kocaeli, Turkey's four major industrial provinces, makes 80 percent of total revenues from the entire country.
