Turkey will undertake the evaluation of several energy projects with the central Iraqi government as well as the regional administration in northern Iraq in the coming days, Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz said on Thursday.

Yildiz said the ministry would announce to the public the evaluation of projects with the administrations of both the central Iraqi government and in north of Iraq.

"Turkey and Iraq will have so many joint projects in the future," said Yildiz concerning the energy sector projects between the two countries.

Meanwhile, he expressed that reports on troubles between the two countries over the energy sector were unfounded. "I don't find reports on problems over the energy sector to be meaningful," he stressed.
