An investment meeting brought together executives of giant global companies in Istanbul on Thursday.

The Turkish economy minister said on Thursday that Turkey's economy had entered a growth process in the last quarter of 2009.

Turkey's State Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan said growth would be sustainable only if it was backed by structural reforms.

"We will discuss which structural reforms we will give priority from now on," Babacan said during the sixth meeting of the Investment Advisory Council of Turkey.

Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, as well as Philippe Le Houerou, Vice President of the World Bank are participating in the meeting.

Heads of leading Turkish business organizations, such as Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD), the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) and International Investors' Association of Turkey (YASED) are also taking part at the meeting.

Participants of the meeting are; Phillippe Maystadt, President of the European Investment Bank; Stephan Van Herck, Vice President of Adobe Systems (USA); Mohammed Alshaya, Chairman of Alshaya Group (Kuwait); Mohsen Moazami, Vice President of Cisco Systems (USA); Hamid Biglari, Vice Chairman of Citicorp (USA); Muhtar Kent, CEO of Coca-Cola Company (USA); Jurgen Fitschen, Head of Regional Management of Deutsche Bank (Germany); Paolo Monferino, CEO of Fiat Group (Italy); Giorgio Zappa, COO of Finmeccanica (Italy); Tang Qibing, Central Asia Regional Director of Huawei Technologies (China); Marco Milani, CEO of Indesit Company (Italy); Anil B. Jain , CEO of Jain Irrigation Systems (India); Maurizio Calenti, CEEMA President of Kraft Foods (USA); Dr. William K.
