World Bulletin/News Desk

Official works begun to improve commercial relations and commercial volume between Turkey and Canada, and the same system with USA will be established for commercial relations.

Turkey's Ottawa Ambassador Tuncay Babali told to AA that especially customs union negotiations should be proceeded with a joint ministry committee.

"Turkey has already launched an official initiative for improving the commercial relations, and is waiting for the response of Canada," said Babali.

Babali also stressed that a joint ministry committee would have an important role between Turkey and Canada for improving the commercial relations.

"Countries, which have a huge amount of commercial volume with each other, have the ability to solve other problems on their agenda," stressed Babali.

The President of Ontario Chamber of Commerce Allan O'dette also told to AA that Turkey, a member of G-20, has a significant economic indicator.

"Canada's USD 2 billion commercial volume is inadequate with a country like Turkey" said O'dette.
