Governor of Turkey's Central Bank, Durmus Yilmaz, said on Friday that Turkey was still far away from price stability.
In a meeting with Turkish exporters in Istanbul, Yilmaz said that the Central Bank would be pleased if exporters in Turkey gave advice on how to deal with inflation while making criticisms about the economy.
Touching on the global economic uncertainty, Yilmaz underlined that such uncertainties posed a risk to the Turkish economy.
Interest rates in Turkey are in harmony with inflation expectations, Yilmaz also said.
