Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz on Sunday arrived in Sudan for a series of talks with Sudanese officials and to sign several agreements to improve energy cooperation between two nations.
Yildiz is scheduled to meet separately with Sudan's Mining Minister Kamal Abdel Latif, Water Resources and Electricity Minister Tabita Botros Shokai, and Oil Minister Awad Al-Jaz. The ministers will pen two cooperation agreements in electricity and hydrocarbon sector.
Yildiz will also meet First Vice President of Sudan Ali Osman Mohammed Taha before departing for Turkey.
