Turkey's Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) and Ghana's Chamber of Commerce and Industry have signed an agreement to open a business council to boost business
opportunities for Turkish investors in Ghana, DEIK said in a statement on Monday.

The statement said the business council with Ghana would be the ninth of its kind in the African continent and that the sub-Saharan country offered a promising market of oil and oil products worth of $220 billion.

"The Turkey-Ghana Business Council will work as a bridge between businesspeople of the two countries," the statement said.
