Turkey's automotive exports to European countries went down in the first half of 2012 but were up to Arab countries.

According to the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) and Union of Exporters of Automotive Industry (OIB), Turkey's automotive exports to European countries went down 1.59 percent between January and June in 2012 when compared to the same term last year and were worth 10.04 billion USD.

In the same term, Turkey's automotive exports to Morocco went up 55.72 percent, to Tunisia 67.92 percent, to Iraq 117.28 percent, to Egypt 30.31 percent, to Libya 328 percent and to Lebanon 29.98 percent.
