International investors show great interest in Turkey because of the latest eye-catching projects including third airport to be built in Istanbul.
The Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey (ISPAT) promoted investment climate in Turkey to businessmen in Malaysia and Singapore.
"Both national and local authorities in Turkey are running many infrastructure projects in the fields of education, energy, construction, defence, health, transportation, information and communication," Ilker Ayci, President of the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey (ISPAT) told after the meetings.
"Within the framework of Turkey's privatizations program, there are many opportunities for infrastucture investors. They are especially Istanbul's third airport, bridge over the Dardanelles, train lines between Izmir-Ankara and Istanbul-Bilecik, harbour privatizations like Izmir and Derince and $ 400 billion-worth urban transformation drew intensive interests," Ayci emphasized.
The agency's next stop will be the Netherlands, Belgium and the United States after tours in Malaysia and Singapore.
