Turkey's industrial production decreased by 3.8 percent in December 2012 compared to the same term in 2011 said Turkey's statistical institute (TurkStat). TurkStat announced on Friday that the industrial production index (based on 2005=100) decreased by 3.8 percent in December 2012, compared with the same month last year.
The highest decrease was in mining and quarrying. In the sub sectors of the industry, mining and quarrying decreased by 10.4 percent, manufacturing decreased by 3.6 and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index decreased by 2.9 percent between December 2011 and December 2012.
Calendar adjusted industrial production index fell by 1.4 percent in December 2012, compared with the same month last year. Seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production index fell by 1.5 percent in December 2012, compared with the previous month.Last Mod: 08 Şubat 2013, 10:26
