Turkey's main export sector to the US is the automotive sector according to the figures of the first 9 months of 2013.

According to the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), in the first 9 months of this year, US is ranked at the 7th place in Turkey's top exporting countries.

Exports to the US have increased by 1 percent to $4,115 billion comparing to the same period of 2012.

Automotive sector exports to the US has reached $686,974 million in the same period.

Exports to US constituted 3.7 percent of Turkey's exports.

Meanwhile, exports to this country from Istanbul is worth $1,320 billion.
