Turkey's economy minister said on Wednesday that Turkish exports since the beginning of the year were over 78 billion USD.

Zafer Caglayan said Turkey was cutting down inflation, but raising growth and exports, and Turkey earned 77 billion USD from its exports in seven months.

"Today, our exports reached 78 billion USD, and we made 640 million USD of exports in the last two days," Caglayan said during his meeting with heads of chambers of commerce and industry of the southern province of Adana.

Caglayan said Turkey was exporting goods worth 300-400 million USD every day, and its 12-month exports reached 126.8 billion USD.

"Our year-end export target is 127 billion USD, and we have already achieved it," Caglayan said.

Caglayan hoped to break an export record by the end of this year, and the government was taking measures against current account deficit at the same time.

The economy minister also said the government would bring investors all around the world to Turkey.
