Retail prices in March 2010 was up %12.01 over the same period last year as, said data released Thursday by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO).

According to ITO's cost of living index (1995=100) compiled for Istanbul, Turkey's largest city and the main commercial hub, retail prices climbed up %1.01 percent month-on-month.

Wholesale prices were up %9.41 year-on-year and they increased %1.48 month-on-month.
