Turkey's short term foreign debt stock was up to 87 billion USD by the end of July 2011, the Central Bank of Turkey said on Monday.

According to temporary figures of the bank, Turkey's short term foreign debt stock was up 11.2 percent month-on-month in July.

It was 78.2 billion USD in June.

Around 56.5 billion the total short term foreign debt is owned by banks.

The banks' short term foreign debt was up 9.6 percent in July over year-end 2010.
