Turkey's unemployment rate dropped 2.9 points to 12 percent in April, 2010 when compared to April, 2009.
Turkey's statistics authority, TurkStat, stated on Thursday that the number of unemployed people dropped 547,000 to 3,071,000 in April period (March-April-May) of 2010.
The unemployment rate had been 14.9 percent in April, 2009.
