Turkish Ambassador in Dhaka Vakur Erkul has said that Turkish Airlines (THY) will increase the number of its Istanbul-Dhaka flights from four days to seven days a week.
Erkul, who was received by Bangladeshi President Zillur Rahman on Thursday, said that THY was flying to 190 destinations in the world from Istanbul, adding that the monthly number of Bangladeshi passengers at THY increased from 8,000 to 20,000.
Number of Istanbul-Dhaka flights will rise to seven days a week as of June, he said.
Meanwhile, Rahman said that they were expecting more investments from Turkey, adding that Bangladesh grew six percent despite the global economic crisis.Last Mod: 14 Şubat 2013, 17:21
