Banking sector's credit volume increased to TL 860.7 billion in a week as of May 3, sector's regulatory authority announced on Monday.      

On April 26, the credit volume was TL 859.03 billion, said the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency of Turkey (BDDK).       According to the weekly bulletin of the BDDK, overall credits excluding the financial sector totaled TL 784.6 billion.      

Consumer loans increased 0.47 percent in a week and reached TL 210.5 billion in a week.
